The President wants to have a big parade.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered Pentagon and White House officials to begin planning a military parade in Washington similar to the Bastille Day parade he witnessed in Paris in July, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

Reminder: all these weapons can and will be used against you.

Probably just a warm up for the one he wants to have in Pyongyang.

“The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else.”
— Theodore Roosevelt, defending his criticism of Woodrow Wilson during WWI

Some people might say you’re a traitor if you don’t support the parade!
I wish this was sarcasm.

I’ve had people tell me since I was a Marine I should be patriotic no matter who holds the office. I said hell the fuck no.

Sure, so long as they are all marching to the WH to arrest him and all the other Russian puppets currently pretending to run our country.

Patriotic means standing up for what’s right.
And calling out what’s wrong.
You’re fine.

I’m pretty sure your contract had an end date just like mine. I don’t know about you, but the federal government doesn’t give a fuck about me as a veteran. My VA benefits are a joke and they are defunding what is in place already. So why should I have to respect this regime, they have to earn it just like everyone else. I respect them enough to not spit in their face if I ever saw them, but that’s a respect I give to everyone.

Oh yeah it’s a joke, when I had to get surgery I just used the medical I get from my union. I don’t even think about it.

Yeah, it’s amazing I have to point that out to people!

Remind them that you swear an oath to the Constitution, not the president. You only promise to obey his lawful orders.

Not on the order of Bastille Day or May Day in Red Square or Pyongyang. That’s what he wants, a big dick swinging army parade with tanks and guns and planes and the machine that goes “PING!” It’s nothing more than a distraction created by a horribly insecure little man and petty tyrant.

Lol I know I don’t need to tell you that of all people but it’s amazing how many people don’t think that way.

I’ve posted the same thing elsewhere, but they should take the parade money and put it to work making things better for vets like you. Screw the parade.

I am legitimately shocked people fell for Drumpf’s shit, he doesn’t give a shit, he says whatever he has to, oh I love the bible and this and that. He wants to snort coke off hookers in a limo, he was doing it while his wife was pregnant, wife number whatever. People are dumb and I really see it now. This is one giant ego stroke now, I don’t think he expected to win, the look on his face when he did can’t be faked, he was shocked. When he met Obama he has this look of, oh fuck this just got real. I was an intelligence officer, I know facial cues, Melania has great ones!

Yeah that is a great one, I like to watch long bits of footage when the focus is off of them. I used to watch footage of people meeting or footage of streets. I to this day watch people’s body language everywhere I go.

Ha, yeah, Melania doesn’t seem happy, at all.
I’ve been railing about him since he announced his candidacy - and yeah, I’m sure he was shocked (and not necessarily happy) that he won.
There are a lot of dumb people that don’t seem to realize that he doesn’t give a shit about them, or anyone else on this planet, besides himself and a few close family members (basically Ivanka and his clueless sons).

She does show a lot of emotion but the disinterest she shows is basically how prisoners act when forced to be at official hearings.

If Dear Leader Kim Jong Trump desires a Military Parade then we shall have it! No one dares question the Supreme Leader. It’s Treasonous to do so.

I think it could be a good idea.
I mean, tell him every time he does something good that benefits everyone from the poor upwards and not just him and his cronies downwards, he gets to be play with his toys and every time he does something bad, stupid or reckless he gets one less squadron of battalion to play with next time.

TR was also the first president to fly in an airplane, though it was after he had left office. The flight took place in St. Louis in 1910, and the aircraft was a Wright Flyer. The pilot, Archibald Hoxsey, worked for the Wrights and was killed in a crash two months after this photo was taken. Hoxsey was 26 years old.
